Although Ripple Labs continued to increase the circulating supply of XRP through its monthly unlocks as of September 2, 2026, the token’s supply on Binance, a top-tier cryptocurrency exchange, has fallen by more than 500 million in 21 months.
The XRP Ledger (XRPL): Exchange Reserve-Binance, 30-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) – a metric that tracks the total amount of XRP held in Binance’s exchange wallets – has dropped from 3,165,575,201 on November 23, 2024, to 2,614,600,179 on September 1, 2026, according to data from CryptoQuant.

As such, this metric shows that roughly 550,975,022 XRP have left the largest crypto exchange by registered users globally in 21 months. This 17.4% decline in Binance’s supply of this altcoin has coincided with the token’s 2025/2026 bear market, signaling a potential structural shift toward cold storage and long-term accumulation despite short-term price weakness.
This metric has signaled high demand from XRP whales, potentially via spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), as Finbold reported.
What’s next for the XRP price action?
Amid these renewed outflows of this token from Binance, the token’s price has experienced a 27.68% selloff year-to-date (YTD), trading at $1.33 at the time of reporting.

Over the past 24 hours, this token’s average traded volume rose by 28% to $2.6 billion at press time. Meanwhile, XRP’s market capitalization reduced by 3.77% in 24 hours to $82.86 billion at the time of publication.
However, XRP’s price has signaled a potential renewed bullish uptrend as investors continue to accumulate. Moreover, the supply of this token on Binance has declined, and the United States spot ETFs have been on a buying spree, as Finbold pointed out.
Consequently, the token’s price could continue its bullish momentum, up 27.74% in 30 days, if the supply on Binance continues to decline amid renewed demand from spot ETFs.
